It arrives whole

Every fixture leaves semi-assembled, each part wrapped on its own, inside five layers of board. What follows is exactly what happens to it — and the one thing we need you to do when it reaches you.

How it is packed

Crystal does not travel assembled. It travels as parts, each one wrapped, in a box built in layers.

  • Semi-assembled

Arms, trimmings and glass travel separately. A simple assembly guide with a drawing is in the box.

  • Every part wrapped on its own

Nothing in the carton can touch anything else in it.

  • No bulbs

Fixtures are supplied without bulbs, so the light is yours to choose.

  • Papers in the box

A warranty card and the assembly guide. Both are needed for a claim — keep them.

Where we ship, and with whom

We choose the carrier by destination, for reliability first. Larger or palletised consignments go with a freight carrier.

We write to you the day before a consignment leaves, with its tracking number.

What it costs

Shipping is priced on the weight of the consignment and where it is going. There is no flat rate, and we do not quote an average — you see the exact figure in the basket, beside the goods, before you pay for anything.

Larger orders are quoted on their own

Weight, volume in cubic metres, the mode of transport and the destination. Ask and we send a full quotation including the best carrier price we can reach.

When it reaches you

Open it in front of the driver

This is the one part of delivery that depends on you. A carrier’s damage report is what makes a claim possible — signed for without it, a broken parcel is very hard to put right.

  1. 01

Look at the parcel before the driver leaves

Torn board, a wet corner, a crushed edge — all of it matters before you sign.

  2. 02

If the packaging is damaged, write the report with the driver

A damage report made with the carrier is a necessary condition for us to allow the claim.

  3. 03

Tell us in writing within three days

info@bohemialighting.com — what is wrong and how it shows. We answer with the next steps within five working days.

A claim needs the invoice, proof of payment and the completed warranty card.

Warranty, returns, customs

Warranty

  • 24 months for consumers, 12 months for business customers.
  • Handmade from the materials they are described in, for interior use in a normal dry room.
  • Report any fault you find within three days of receipt, in writing.

Returns

  • Fourteen days from receipt, no reason needed.
  • Returned in original condition with its original packaging, invoice, warranty card and the withdrawal form.
  • Return carriage is paid by the buyer. Parcels sent cash-on-delivery are not accepted.

Outside the EU

  • You pay us the goods and the carriage, both without VAT.
  • Import duty and tax are payable by the recipient under the rules of the destination country.
  • Those rules differ everywhere — your local customs office is the one to ask.
